These last years I haven't been shy about my growing disinterest in innovation conferences and tradeshows. That being said, I was a bit titillated by CURBIVORE in Los Angeles, which is about restaurant business model and retail innovation, last-mile delivery, mobility, and civic tech.
What I like here is that they aren't shy about the messy interconnectedness of these topics, which contrasts so much with how incumbents would think about business. I might regret they won't go as far as talking about new proteins, agtech, and foodtech as well, but maybe next year?
I'll watch the keynotes when they upload them in video, but if you're going to LA to attend, please poke me.
