An end-of-reign atmosphere for Apple developer's conference?

While the rest of the tech world is doubling down on AI—and remember, I remain highly skeptical, especially when it comes to consumer markets—Apple has mostly unveiled transparent buttons for the Mac and windows for the iPad. Perhaps they’re quietly preparing a major comeback, treating this as a strategic gap year. But for one of the world’s most powerful companies, the silence is strange, if not outright disconcerting.

Their mixed reality device has still zero solid use case to offer (but, hey, you can now stick virtual clocks on your walls), the iPhone is officially boring, and the Mac keeps on trucking, but again without any grand update or new field of possibility opening up.

Not feeling very optimistic from now on.
